REOPENING OF THRIFT SHOPPES

 

We now are OPEN! 

 

And we are thrilled to announce that our Housewares again is opened and fully and completed redesigned and beautifully decorated! Mens and Women's also is open and well stocked.

 

Tuesdays and Saturdays 10 AM until 2 PM

 

 

We also are accepting donations now and are in particular need of kitchenware including small appliances, cookware, pots and pans, utensils, etc. We also are in need of men's clothing and shoes. Donations are accepted gratefully during our hours on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

 

We are in particular need of mens' clothing and shoes, kitchenware and household appliances. All must be in good condition and if applicable, working.

 

 

 

[We are in special needs of volunteers to help sort, tag and price and sell merchandise. It can be a very rewarding experience. If you would like to work with us, please contact the Church at 845-357-1615 x 12 and we will return your call.]

 

 

 

 

 

We are accepting donations again. However, we no longer are accepting furniture.

 

Thanks to everyone who has been patient while we recover from Corona in all of its permuations.

 

 

 

We are in the process of soliciting resumes for a new Thrift Shop Manager.  Please go to INDEED.COM and search for Christ Church of Ramapo for a full description of the duties and responsiblties, salary and detailed hours as well as an opportunity to furnish us with your resume and contact information. 

 

We wish to remind everyone that we do not accept hazardous materials as well as TVs, TV entertainment furniture, etc. We also do not mattresses and pillow. We do not accept toys for children and other matierials for children under nine years of age. 

 

 

SECOND TIME AROUND THRIFT MINISTRIES

For decades. Christ Church has been serving the larger Suffern community with excellent clothing, housewares and furniture at extremely low prices, lower than other Thrift Shops in the area. All of our items to be sold have been screened for cleanliness, functionality and usability.


Second Time Around is open Tuesdays 10 AM - 2 PM and Saturdays from 10AM - 2 PM

Parking is available behind the Church, entrance to which is on East Maple Avenue.

 

 

 

 

We accept donations of usable, clean items during our business hours. Receipts for tax purposes will be given on request.

We will not accept items, of any kind, for children under 9 years of age, including, but not limited to car seats, stuffed animals, mechanical and electric toys, changing tables, cribs, strollers and carriages.

Additionally, we do not accept weapons of any nature, including knives, toy weapons, cleaning and painting chemicals, pillows, mattresses, TVs, VHS tapes and/or soiled linens or clothing missing buttons or clothing with holes.

We ask that all items be in season when donated.
