In 2005, our Soup Kitchen served 26,000 meals. No questions are ever asked about need. The meals are prepared by a host of volunteers from Christ Church as well as other churches and synagogues in Suffern. Hot meals are served Monday through Saturday and a bagged meal is prepared on Sunday. Even when the weather is severe such as in a blizzard, we manage to stay open for those truly hungry. For seven years the Soup Kitchen has been ably run by our Soup Kitchen Coordinator, Connie Maslik.
